I think Repsol should try to keep Pedrosa as it would help keep Marquez happy as they seem to be good friends, and a happy Marquez will almost certainly bring them another championship. To use words in the 2nd paragraph, they are a "good fit" and have a great "atmosphere". If it ain't broke don't fix it.

 

Severely doubt if Pedrosa will lose his seat. He has been in the similar position several times over the past decade. Whilst he has never won he has always been consistent.

 

I hope you're right but the article suggests otherwise FWIW.

 

Zarco had an offer from HRC but wants to beat MM on a different machine....... big balls!

 

He seems to be backing them up too. He and Crutchlow did really well in FP2 today.

The Irish season is up and running, Michael Dunlop took a win in the Supersport at Cookstown but bogged the start of the Superbike race and never sorted himself out, despite setting a fastest lap his BMW was forced to take 2nd to Irish road race superman Derek Shiels on a GSXR-1000

Shiels blew his motor in practice so had to start in the second wave, with a clear road in front and no real competition he took a 5 second win on corrected time, it being a time trial like the TT

Just to remind you of the view from the seat

 

We have BSB from Oulton Park this weekend, as well as MotoGP ....plus the Cookstown 100 meeting on TV

Glenn Irwin has really taken to the Panigale and was fastest in practice, breaking Josh Brookes lap record in conditions that are only set to improve, Monday is the main event (a public holiday over here) and the weather forecast is set to be sunny and hot, 25C, perfect race temperature

 

That is some crazy racing, super skinny and people standing right beside the race line!
