Anyone else talking RACING?! <--- of the motorcycle type

Yeah, Aoyama would have been next to Rossi this time round, at best! How about Crutchlow?! Gets through both qualifying sessions and on the front row to boot! Since MM has nothing to worry about, I think he's just looking to make a statement at this point!

 

Fucken global warming, what is wrong with those nutters, freezing cold, blowing a gale, pissing rain, welcome to sunny Australia. Too bloody cold to go on the GP ride to PI, done it many times but today was the worst by a long shot. The riders down there have have unbelievable guts riding in these conditions. Couldn't believe the sun was shining and the sky was blue during Q2, it was pissing down here and I'm only 40ks in a straight line from the track. I feel sorry for all those campers down there

Moto3: Holy Hell!

 

Wow! Some impressive rides in the MotoGP class! Gratgrats to the winner as he did an AWESOME job taking the win! Second and Thrid place winners did a great job of coming from back of the pack!

 

The race for third was fun to watch. Crazy the difference between those two manufacturers.

 

Wow what great weather they ended up having to reward those faithful fans that braved the angry seas of the qual rounds. The TV coverage is awesome at PI, such fun to watch. Catch the replay if you can.

 

During practice with the sun out and coming over that part of the track with the water spray and the ocean in the back ground was beautiful--- the outcome was not expected--- and wow VR, worst qualifying in 5 years and what a race he had.

That right-hand Turn 4 seems to be a handful.

 

In the after qualifying press conference, the guys pretty much said that you can't rule out Rossi even though he qualified in 15th. They gave Lorenzo too much credit though! :rofl:

Just started watching the race right now.

 

The greatest race.....that didn't matter. Congrats to _________...Manufacturers Championship still in play.

 

Moto 3.... just crazy. That was a horrible wreck at Lukey Heights. 2 guys run over in the same crash. And 3 turns into the first lap, more carnage. # is always just nuts but this weekend was extra crazy.

Good for Cal. In his interview he said he was very afraid at the turn where he had gone down before last year especially after MM went down. MM was very honorable saying it was his fault. Unlike JL last week when he and Rossi went down. Rossi "I made a mistake". JL "The front tire sucks and caused the crash". Same old blame game with that dude. Have mot watched Moto 2 yet.

The moto2 was the best race of the weekend, watched it twice for effect...

 

Going to watch it tonight!

 

In typical Aussie fashion the mechanics made up a pit stand for Cals Honda out of a zimmer frame ... no pics sorry

 

Zimmer frame, had to look that one up. lol
