Aoyama has been around for some years, and he can be very fast, on the right machine, he was brilliant on the stroker, and he needs to improve his 4-stroke skill! he can be under the top six, but not constant!

My sentiments exactly. I believe that Mr. hondarv4, amongst others, has deluded himself. Any visions of Ducati grandeur are most certainly seen with wool over the eyes.

I ride Hondas on the track and Ducati on the streets/roads so I might be a little coloured ... and I really appreciate my bikes. A friend and fellowrider rides a Yamaha, after being on Kawasaki in the German superbike championship, and a Suzuki RGB wild card in the 500 WC back in the 80'ies.
Wool over the eyes? yes it's cold over here, but ain't much warmer in Colorado.

As I said way back on page 2, post #36:

They say it's supposed to get nailed down before Sepang test 2 in a couple weeks, cause AirAsia wants to do the press release in their home turf.

(Does it mean I'm really an arrogant asshat if I quote myself in an answer to someone else's question? BTW, this is a rhetorical question, cause I already know the answer...)

Ok my German expat brother, I mean this shit right here
MOTO RACING - MOTOGP: Noyes' Notebook - Honda Goes For Broke

Duh, answered your own question on top of quoting your own damn self ahahahahaha

Yamaha has had similar issues getting eleventh hour sponsors in the recent past, hell they make everything, they'll find someone. Besides, I cannot throw Yamaha under the bus after what they did a few years ago to make Laguna what it is today.

It is a proven fact that Im a wackjob, so now that that is out there, I cannot help but looove Simoncelli!!!!!!

Barring injury and other crazy intervention by the gods, Honda is gonna kill.....whether its Stoner or the mighty Midget Pedrosa (the human riding clinic), or Dovi or the mad hairdo that is Simoncelli.

As long as Im busting balls, I cannot believe that even one of you doesnt know who Hiroshi Aoyama is, flick yourself in the left nut until I say stop. Do not count him out, extremely smart and agressive rider that knows how to battle at the front.

Honda was arguing for the 800 class, before the 990 class at FIM, it was in several mag' s (Das Motorrad) (PS) (MCN) (Motorsport Aktuell), very reliable mag's. German mags and some english as well. Honda wanted to kill the strokers thats a fact , even though they had the fastest bike around. You might find on the net, I have hard copies, stored away somewhere. I've been following this sport for a generation+
Allways been a hardcore Honda fan!
