Any gen VFRs in northern CT/Central Mass area

there is one in orange or Athol MA but that is the only dyno tunning place I know of for bikes
if that is not to far for you let me know I will get info for you

Hey Somefun, I've seen this guy at a few bike shows, no one I know has used him or anything, but I've seen him do anything from flatheads to gixxers - Rob's Dyno Service.

He's in Gardner MA, but travels around New England doing shows, not sure if that would work for ya or not.

Good luck, bet she's running sweet now! (of course, it's a Honda so it's not like it wasn't before!)

 

shop in orange is allsport cycle the guy who owns it name is jeff castine. he mapped my 07 and has worked on all my bikes back to 1990

Hey Guy's I had the bike on the Dyno the other day...Went pretty well. Thought it would have put out a little more power thought. I had the power commander, Leo n Vince pipes, Motad catless header, air box mod and K&N filter.... Engine temp was 185 and the first pull was 98hp...after we adjusted the mapping a little (it was lean at 5000 and rich at red line) I picked up 3 more HP for a total of 101.2 I was glad to see it over 100 but I had thought I saw on the site that someone had 109hp? The dyno guy showed me and 06 VFR with just the commander and slip on's and I was 9hp over him though.

just did tail riser on my 02 and corners better then ever.

Sounds about right, it's pretty hard to get much over 100-ish. I think you're in pretty good shape. Different days and different dynos might fluctuate the numbers a little too, but that's a pretty good number in my book. How's it sound with those headers on it? I'm jealous!!

You need to take another trip on Rt 116 to try it out!

same route 116 - 112 if enough time tag top of Greylock and head back.
need to hit 116 to really try out tail riser.

Sounds REAL good!!! a little loud at high R's but not bad. I like it a lot. It does seem to pull a little better with the header and air box mod....But it could be the noise too....LOL but either way it's all good. :thumbsup:

 

Nice! Yeah I'm all over another ride...I can't stay on this thing enough. I rode it to work today in the rain...lol O well! I'll talk to Chris on the date. I'm going sky diving on July 3rd for the first time and then a three day ride throught NH the following week (should be real good) looking forward to shutting of the phone and just riding. :biggrin:

Oh, I'll have the Ducati, VFR is in pieces getting a thorough Tune-Up including:
Fluids
Plugs
Chain
Sprockets (Front/Back)
Rear Tire
Air Cleaners
etc...

 

If I say near the casino's, then everyone usually knows where it is. have to work this weekend, but it would be nice to head up that way for a ride sometime.
