I would have to agree that there's nothing like the Rockies!
And a little dig to GatorGreg...these are the curves you seek. :eagerness:

Great vid - thanks DD! I'm planning to ride the Dragon, the Snake, and many places in between this summer - hopefully I won't fly off a cliff in the process :glee:

Ha, prolly, and due to the fact there weren't many motorcyclists out. ;) Maybe saw 20 when on the 405. None at all on the twisties where we went.

I know I would be addicted quick. Going on walks is my next favorite thing to do...I say walks cuz flat KS...hiking where there would be true hiking opportunities with scenery. <3 <3

I loved the days that I got to fool around Athabasca, Banff, and Jasper off the Moto.

Duckie will bring me to CO!! ;)

I wouldn't be hiking in Kansas. All those tornados and The Wizard of OZ all over again. BTW, that's a true story.

It's a little stretch of road in the foothills west of Littleton, CO, called Highgrade Rd. It's near Deer Creek Canyon, one of my favorites. There's no shortage of great canyon roads like that, within 10 minutes of my house.

Squaw Pass (Hwy 103) between Evergreen Pkwy and Idaho Springs is one of my favorites as well. Possibly one of the best roads in the country, if you like railing through mountain curves at crazy speeds  Pretty amazing views too, if you're taking it easy.

I'll start working on a list of the more well known rides in the foothills. Definitely have some great triple-digit sweeper routes, too.

I don't have any guest rooms available for visitors, but I really enjoy taking other riders on roads they've never seen before. Although if AM wants to crash on my couch, I'd be happy to oblige.

There's a great book by a local rider, that has almost all of them... The Complete Guide to Motorcycling Colorado by Steve Farson. A must have for any serious rider living here.
