    Louis Prima and Keely Smith, that's going back way before my time! I started in New Jersey listening to WABC AM out of NY City on old Philco radio, Earth Angel - The Penquins 1954.

    Got out of sound systems in the late 80's, got into computers, servers and CAD for the next 25 years.

    Key to good sound system is plenty of clean power, as soon as the amps start to clip, sound goes to hell. I was a JBL Professional sound contractor for years. Incredible speakers, highly efficient, means more decibels per watt.

    Love to build you a system, but you need stop by and hear mine when you out here some day. Lady Gaga's Just Dance will go right through ya!

    The only JBL I have are some Flips...I always wondered how they sound so good yet are so small.

    I'll have to take you up on that! Plan on being out your way this summer.

    I actually played it in band for 4 years...band arrangement obviously. Can still belt it out on a clarinet.

    The Prima thing is from c. 1936. Louis and Keely came much later. They were bigtime in Vegas.
