Everything is ready to rock gotta run to radioshack and pick up some connectors thats about all I got for you guys right now. Oh forgot to mention I got a coil harness off a 07 CBR and in the picture that's all I had left.

    Ok fellas my charging system is back to 100%. Just did a short ride with the new coils she seem to run a tad smoother. Again big shout out to rangescott for the COP idea well im off got go ride this sucker now!!

    Just got my exhaust hanger in today looking pretty sharp! Now its time to reweight this thing again my guess is it might be 489lbs ill report back when I get that info. Sorry forgot to mention the hanger came from R&R exhaust.

    Ok fellas got a question for ya, have you saw or heard of anyone ever swapping a conventional swing arm on to a VFR?

    Yeah its been done. im pretty sure a rc51 swing arm would be easy...

    a good diet tip is carbon fairings. if you think the fairings are already light enough you wouldnt believe how light carbon fairings are. my roomate has a 07 cbr600rr that is literally drenched in carbon fiber. the fairings are unbelievably light.

    The CBR900RR swingarm makes sense.

    It's a common mod to put the VFR swingarm on the CBR900.

    I've seen 900RR swingarms swapped to VFR's before. Seems like the logical choice since the 900RR custom guys like to put VFR 'arms on their bikes. From what I've seen it's pretty straightforward. The 900RR swingarm is shorter (I think) which would also help the VFR out a lot - it can use a shorter wheelbase.

    Me and are on the same page if can shorten the wheel base and get ride of the have swig arm it might do pretty good!

    A custom exhaust is usually the biggest expense when using a conventional swingarm on a VFR. If anyone wants one cheap I have a braced arm from a 98 CBR900RR I'd sell for $75 and include the caliper and bracket. Came out of my 94 VFR.
