I made my own plates from anodized aluminum 1/8" real easy to do, I dont think the 6th gens are the same but if you want a few pcs to kmake your own I'll send you some.

    vtr clip ons or forks?
do you think jamie would set up a 929 shock for a 6th gen?
i would like to do that and the f4i forks(ideally rc51 forks) for the suspension and brake up grade.
but you lucky sob, your already ahead of the game in the horsepower war. as youve got the infamous 98-99 headers, and the earlier ecu that you can plug the pc2 into, which allows ignition advance as well as the fuel enrichment.
plus those are the lightest of the 800s and cough cough gear driven cams cough. what ever get to work Lol
lets see some dyno print outs and pics already!

personally, I felt the most bang for the buck with the suspension upgrades on my 5th gen. It cost me just shy of $1K to get a penske rear shock and gold valves, springs, etc from racetech for the front. Good upgrades and made tracking a line in a bumpy curve pretty solid. Also virtually eliminated dragging hard parts in tight corners...and that is ALWAYS a plus!

I've already setup Matt with a rear shock and we have a plan in place for his forks. All he needs to do is find some time to stop riding and get those forks sent out to me and he should be in good shape in the suspension department.

not riding a new toy is always the problem. You might need a loaner program Jaimie to get him off that thing

Yeah if I get off my lazy ass I might be able to get some stuff done. The old 500 is out of commission due to a wore out clutch and chain& sprockets.

This begs the question of the definition between "mods" and "customizations".
