86 VF500 would need a complete restore, should I walk away?

    This is the same attitude I have. I've got $6500 into my 500, $5500 into my 750 and $6200 into my 1000R. I can't even recoup half of my money on the 500 or 750. However, I do think I can actually sell the 1000R for more than what I've got into it, but that is not the point. I knew up front that on all of these bikes that I would be upside-down on them by the time I was done. There was never any intention to sell or make money. My efforts were to purely satisfy my dream to have the '86 lineup (minus the 700) in mint condition. I've done that and don't regret my decision. The next bike that I would like to restore is a '93 CBR900RR (RWB) and if I proceed with it, money will not be a consideration.
