86 vf 500 80000 kms! what to do?

Not sure.

Somedays I want a better bike for touring....like a VFR.....but then I see how much people are selling their bikes and I go back to tinkering with mine.

 

Yeah I just can't afford somethign new. Plus I love my 500.

 

I love mine too.....even though I've put over 15,000kms on it this year I feel like it's been broken more then operating

 

i hear yah brother, i lost over a month due to the carbs being down and being at a shop, and then our friend from stouville came in one day brought the newer ones and i was good to go again i wish i would have done that from the start

 

If I still have this bike come spring I'm gonna get him to check over a bunch of stuff for me.

My bike runs great and all....but just to be sure....cause he's the man.
