White wheels look nice for sure, but are a bitch to keep clean. My '93 had white wheels that turned me into a neurotic, ocd patient in my never ending quest to keep them looking tidy!

It'd be great if I could find blue bags, but red ones will do just fine for this summer. I can get them painted in the winter.

Hey Randy, can you add me to this outstanding group?? Just updated to a red 2002 last week.

 

People here seem to think that all that is needed is to ask and thou shall receive. It is not that simple. I have to take each and every request to Committee for discussion and review. First I put a motion to the floor. It is discussed and inevitably, there is a committee member wanting to amend the motion. So we discuss the amendment and some other jackass on the committee wants to amend the amendment. So we discuss that and if all is good, we vote on the amendment to the amendment. If that passes alright, then we return to discussing the original amendment and vote on that. Hopefully no one wants to further amend the amendment or we go backward to an amendment to the amendment again and so forth.

Now, assuming all is good, we have discussed amendments to amendments and voted to accept them, have discussed the amendment and voted to pass the amendment, we now can return to the original motion and continue the discussion there. Finally we vote on the amended motion and if all are in favour, the motion is passed. After all that, we have to ask the secretary to read back just what the fuck we were doing so we know where we are. And finally, we accept you into the militia as a full fledged member and assign you the prestigious number 315.

BTW, this is a one person committee and the secretary is also the member of that committee, which if you have not figured it out by now, it is me. I have two identical pairs of socks which are one blue and one brown. Except that I keep mixing the right sock and left sock up. I changed my name to Calvin Klein so I would not loose my undies in the laundry and I tie a string to my wrist when I go out for a walk so I don't get lost.

You have just learned the basic principles of Roberts Rules of Parliamentary Procedures which is how most laws are brought forward and passed. My description of myself is probably flattering to most politicians so now you understand why our governments are so fuckt up.

Since norcalboy has resurfaced, so should his thread. Who else to sign on here to the 6th gen militia. Imposters will be flogged with worms soaked in Tequila then have spent like wedges stuffed up their nostrils...while they are stuck in the Coronas still.

 

It appears that the next role # available is 316 (3:16). I would like to be probationally placed on the list @ 316, if this is within the confines of the rules. I have verbally spoken for my 2005 VFR, and will be picking it up in two weeks. Would love to join the Team!!!
