I received one email back so far from David Silver Spares. Our US vs switch is about $57US. DSS says they have one in stock at 49GBP and all the rest would come from Honda at a cost of 91.64GBP. I think both those prices aren't worth it. I also advised them that there were a bunch of us who were interested. As usual, they didn't seem to care all that much.

I also have a few emails out to specific dealerships in the UK but haven't received any word as of yet. I'm not sure if the list price is 91.64GBP, if it is, it's not worth it for me. 49GBP...maybe, but combine that with shipping, the result will be kinda high.

I'll wait and see if I get responses from the others.

What about using the Suzuki part? Could one simply get a switch assembly for a GSXR with the pass switch on it and put it on their VFR? I'm sure the connectors are different, but thats an easy swap. The main question would be if the Suzuki part would bolt up the the VFR. The busa's also have a hazard light switch on some of them too, seems like without much effort you could not only have the pass switch, but hazard lights too.

Hazard lights were introduced on the gen 6 in 2003 I think...maybe 2004. I figure as long as the bar diameter 7/8" is the same on the gixxer than it should bolt on. Wiring shouldn't be that hard either. The only thing is that the Honda assembly seems stronger and possibly better quality.

You could be right on the quality thing, I have a buddy with an '06 busa and I didn't look that closely at it, I just noticed it had the pass switch on it and thought it might swap over really easily. It would definately be cheaper as you can get one for less than $50 on ebay.
