    Hi guys!
I got fried stator wire plug. Did a stator test got 3.5v 3.5v and 1 v on 3 yellow wires.Looks like fried stator.
    Now I have a dilemma.
Ricks? Eletrosports or racetech HONDA VFR800FI VFR800 INTERCEPTOR 1998-2001 HIGH OUTPUT STATOR | eBay
racetech appeals to me since its heavy duty however as you can see from the picture it does not come with wire seal plastic. Now I have never taken stator out and wondering if you do recommend Racetech could I swap OEM wire plastic or seal on to new stator?
    Which one would you recommend.
    Thank you

Thank you for the suggestion. I decided to go with Ricks and bought a R1 Mosfet R/R and beefy connections.
I had the typical regulator stator fried busted wires.

    Ac/dc?

Probably not if you were using the DC scale to measure this.

If it were fried and one of the legs open circuit, then you would not read any voltage on the AC voltage scale. If it were working okay and you used the DC scale, then you would get something similar to your readings. Just because the connector has melted doesn't mean the stator has failed...
