5th gen owner here, about to buy a 6th gen to add to the stable

    I know where there is a Sargent seat on a bike that you could use for a few weeks to get some seat time on one...

    you pretty much stole that. As far as the tools, I think the 6th gen only came with a couple (like a spanner and something else). As far as the seat tab. If you still have the tab, I got a pretty cheap plastic repair kit on ebay that worked pretty well for fixing up some broken stuff on my son's ninja. It was very similar to plastifix, but half the price.

    I used some jb weld steel-reinforced polymer to get the tab back on, it broke off, so i ground it down, and did it again. We'll see how it holds up, but I think I'm taking the cowl off wrong.
