I've got a set of Galfer stainless lines to put on my bike, but have hesitated because of the (perceived?) complicated bleeding procedure. Guess I should just bite the bullet and do it.

As an aside, I can kind of see what PB is talking about. I've never used any kind of key ring for my bikes' keys because I don't want to scratch up the triple tree. However the bike shows normal signs of wear and tear: rubbed spots on the tank from knees and jacket, and various minor scuffs. I wouldn't try to talk down the price because of key ring scratches but I would sure notice them. Go figure.

Just pick up a section of cheap pvc hose long enough to feed what's coming out of the bleeders back into the reservoir, pump the old stuff out while topping up with new stuff, when it's pretty much all new stuff, just loop the hose back to the reservoir and recirculate/pump till all the air bubbles are gone. Low tech I guess, but it works fine for me.

Thanks for the post and the pictures. I have been considering putting a set of the Galfer's on my 2000, but I'll have to look at the Hel's. Great pics
    Thanks:cool:

If you like the El Padrino, try the CAO Italia. It's a much, much better smoke.

The brake line mod is on my winter to-do list.

    KC-10 FE out...
