Ha, but... it's never that simple. Odd that you say that the temps read 231 and your first thought was the exhaust being the culprit? IDK, that's a stretch thinking that was the cause, more than likely a stuck Tstat.

When are you coming back to Wa. State?

Wasn't Black Widow the one that guys wre buying, then cutting them apart, and cleaning up the insides with a Dremel tool?

I have a place there (near Mt Baker) but a been away working long-term (2-3 years) power projects until I have enough money to retire. That's why the VFR is a great value for the money

Somebody had butt joint pictures but I think it was made up story because they were not new BW headers which are Slip joint welded, sad when people intentionally mis-inform and do that sort of thing, I have pictures of brand new BW headers, they fit-up perfect and are very high quality polished 304 SS

Im still trying to figure out, if there is a difference between a great value, and a great value for the money....

The only way to solve the header vs header debate, is to line them up. I volunteer to represent the Delkevic.

I first went to TB website and there are absolutely zero 5th Gen Products readily available, so what's your point ? the Dyno only exists in repetitive text and talk, furthemore suppose these "racing performance" did actually exist, it would most likely cost $1000's and then you would need racing cams and injectors and it would not be very streetable, when BW are brand new 304 SS for $360 plus shipping

The Delkevic are Made In China, have more clamped joints and in turn leak (from the reviews I read)

Except if it were true you're not going to be removing SS material with any Dremel tool, you'd need a burr grinder with so many grinding tips it would cost more than the headers. Those pictures were an amateur "clean-up" attempt at botched up butt welding

I ride on country roads, the OEM seat does me fine. USD$500, more in Au, I can put that to much better use.

Well they do exist AND can be had for well under $1000 also you don't need racing cams OR injectors to take advantage of the exhaust.

I will agree that the stock seat is fine. On my 6 Gen I have a Sargent but on my 5 Gen I left it stock, just had it recovered due to the PO having placed something on it that left a bunch of tiny holes in the cover.

I've taken the 5 Gen on some pretty long hauls and have no comfort issues. We have a ride a couple of us do called the fast 400, nearly 400 miles of fast, fun and twisty roads and never had any comfort issues. Been to the R3 events a couple of times too, which can vary in mileage, again no problem. That $500 better spent on suspension upgrades than a seat IMO.

Did you really just site a forum for a VIDEOGAME to back up your "research"? How are you employed?

Except it's purely "imaginary" that does not exist in "format" that is "readily available or obtainable" so it does not even qualify or belong on this thread. Why not just start another thread and ramble on it? This is a legit thread with legit info

Well here's the deal because I have both, your tailbone won't complain with the Corbin, there's a huge difference in the density of the seat foam, but if you plan to keep the bike you'll never regret a custom Corbin, but don't get leather, piping or the insert for the passenger seat rest. It needs to be very simple and select "gripper vinyl" it will last and keep you in place
