2014..... the re-release of the 800

    Could'a sworn it was decided that the VFR1200 wasn't really the 7th gen after all, and deserved it's own model. Thereby making the 2014 VFR800 the 7th gen... but at this point I think the only foolproof way of referring to the bike is by year.

    Thanks for the nice compliment Jethro, I'm blushing.

    IMHO you're right, the VFR is a practical choice for riding in an athletic/sporting/comfortable way. Especially if you don't have the means to have a stable that covers it all.

    I heard some chatter on the VFR list about wheels cracking/bending after going through some minor rough roads. Any truth to it?
