Dated??? Are you kidding me......the bike looks like nothing on the market. Tell me a Blackbird looks dated...ya cant call the 2010 VFR Dated. There is not a chance in hell Honda would update the look of the bike so quick out of the gate. I for one am glad about that.

I kind of like the blue. At least it's a different color. I think I would have liked it a bit darker and deeper blue myself, but I bet it looks real nice in person.

+1. I think that the front looks very nice and I personally prefer the one light setup to dual head lamp style that the older model had.

If you don't have a 6th Gen, then you might not realize that it actually has 4 distinct bulbs. Each side has a separate bulb for high and low beam. The high beam bulbs sit above the low beam bulbs. From a distance, it looks like a dual headlight, but up close you'll see it is actually 4. However, I do like the single headlight of the 1200 and the blue is growing on me.

Dated replied to the tech that they put in the 2010 vs 2012 not the look. Its really like they didn't have the traction control completed and just said put the bike out as is and clip the first two gears. Dated was also a point that its sarcastic meaning they really didn't change anything on the bike.

I know that the Gen 6 has 4 bulbs I had one. I just like the split head light look of two different head light sets. If you wanted to put it that way then I like 4 head lamps. The 1200 has 2 and they are stacked up and down. We all have our own opinions.

It's not the looks of the bike because the CBR250 sells fine. That is what I have been told by the salesmen around here its really the price.

    Blue

Papa smurf has a new ride-Its smurfalicious! I'm not going to judge the blue until I see it in person...man it looks loud in pictures though.

I wasn't trying to correct or slam your comment, but rather expand on your initial thought. Half of these threads wouldn't exist without opinions.

At the onset, the 6th Gen is indeed a dual headlight setup, but looking deeper into it, I thought that it was cool that each side of that dual headlight has it's own dual headlight for high and low. I owned my 6th Gen for 3 months before I noticed that!
