2010 NYC bike show/who's going?

I say You, Kevin and me in the Jetta will be fine. I'd hate to see you try to park an F-350 in Manhattan!! :crazy:

 

If the weather is looking good for the weekend, my brother and I are riding in from Philly, then out to Far Rockaway for the night. Just because.

Sounds good to me guys. Count me in. Either day is ok, so whatever works for everyone else is cool.

As for parking the Ford in Manhattan, all ya gotta do is find a couple Civics, Neon's, etc parked next to each other, put it in 4WD and my bumper on theirs, yadda yadda yadda, they're SOL and I'm 2 inches from the curb! :thumbsup:

Or...we could just take the Jetta lol

 

or you can park it on top of a few cars.

Sweet, I got an message from Tim a couple days ago and he brought up the bike show. That's what triggered me to check the posts actually. I haven't been on in a while so I caught this thread thanks to his IM.

4 in a Jetta should be no sweat, unless Peter's looking to autocross that one too and he's ripped out a seat to make it lighter or something lol

 

Just thought I'd bump this.

I do plan on attending. Not sure if it'll be Friday or Saturday. Anyone want to ride in?

I'm good for either Saturday or Sunday, doesn't really matter. If I get to choose, I'd take Saturday, but don't really matter. Me, you, Peter and Tim car pooling still?

 

i won't know till 2-3 days before on what day my buddys are going down.

 

I am in but need to get a handle on what day so i can keep it open.

so me and 4 of my buddys are going down on saturday

830am BoltBus from south station to penn station, getting there around 12:45, penn station is 1 block away from the javits center.
so we will get lunch, then do the show till ~7. grub again, then catch 830 pm buss back to south station in bean town. be home at 1 am.

cost is $30 round trip, the bus has power plugs and Wifi.


so we will be at the show from about 2 ish to 630 ish if any one wanted to meet up

 

Sorry guys, I was overseas for a couple weeks and haven't kept up. Let's meet at my house at 9 a.m. on Saturday? Not sure where Tim lives? Not much room in the back of the Jetta but hell I'm driving so if ya'll are ok with it I am too. Kev/Chris I'll give you a call tomorrow to discuss logistics.

 

Sounds good to me. I'm short so I'll reserve a back seat, no big deal. I'm not sure if Tim is going to be in. Kevin just started a thread over in Anything Goes - Tim's been in the hospital having heart surgery. Getting out today I believe, so that's certainly great news.

Snowcross - we can meet up down there for sure. Assuming the RSV4 is there, it will take all of you to hold me back lol.

 

sorry but no Aprilia RSV-4 at show, someone called and warned them that I would not leave the place alive without it.
