Kerist. The wife is raggin on me about reggies now you want me to go for another three days. Hell it is only taking me two days to get to reggies. What are you doing. Ride for an hour then have a 5 hour picnik. June 13 is the first of four days of so I can do that one. July is out for me.

It's almost identical to kingsley's first rendition. Where I came up with all the other hoopla I don't know. Why didn't anyone stop me...

If this works for everyone then I'll stick it up top. I think this could be done in two days with the stop in Yakima, the more experienced dudes need to speak up. The two days are just about equally split mileage wise and day two will be a bit more scenic than technical which suites me just fine.

You know come to think of it we could go clockwise through Winthrop and stop at Yakima. That way we would be fresh for the Windy Ridge area in the morning and slab it home. idunno...

Ok some questions need to be answered and I'm going on vacation until they are...

We know its going to be a minimum of 850miles 18-20hrs no matter which way we plan it. Even if Winthrop was skipped it's still the same miles, so it may as well be there.

    1. 2 day trip or a 3 day trip?

Assuming Yakima is going to be a sleepover and maybe another which way do we wanna travel...

    2. Clockwise or Counter Clockwise?

    3. Is it worth going through the Mt. Rainier Area ie. Paradise Rd? Yes or No.

    Bye Bye

Realizing that we all share the same riding skills of the likes of Mike Hailwood, watch your asses on "The Mountain." Lots of cager tourists there in June. The slopes are still barren and not much grows there. Consequently as physics imply, stuff does roll downhill.

Lot of nice twisties on "The Mountain". Blind corners all strewn with stuff just doesn't offer much traction.

If Y'all are planning on riding WA 20, make sure it's open. Watch for the local gendarmes about roughtly Newhalen.

If any of you get nailed by a WA stater and wish to see da judge, You have the right to establish the venue. This must be done first thing. Otherwise, you will be expected to appear in the county where the citation was issued. It is likely the stater will even know about this. In summer they move the newbie staters around. Verbal a ain't squat. Get it in writing. If it pisses the guy off, too bad! At last look stops were up by a significant percentage. (127% ?) The WA State Patrol has a fairly new chief who knows how to turn a profit.

Just for shits and giggles, If you get nailed in a US Federal Park by a Park Ranger, It's a good bet that the guy is summer help. The regular Park Rangers are busy being Park Rangers. The summer help are folks who are in forestry school and might become rangers someday. If you get nailed and want to see da judge, off you go to Federal Court. Here the judges are trying way more important stuff than going 50 in a 45. All the subpeona stuff is different too. Bottom line here is that nobody is going to fly forestry student who is in school in Wisconsin to the West Coast over a fifty dollar ticket. The person you want to speak with is the prosecutor or the assistant prosecutor unless you want to play drama queen with a Federal Judge. Be advised that doing this is not like ya see on TeeVee.
