2007 25th Anniversary ... Freddie Spencer Edition?

    Again, thanks for all the input. As far as the Freddie Spencer thing goes, I'm pretty sure it's as RWB25 said, and the individual I was in touch with at the dealer just refers to it as that because of the paintwork. I couldn't agree more with the consensus, and quite frankly I wonder about the weight of the VFR in relation to what I might ride as a first bike. I took a fairly intensive weekend training course (8-10 hours of riding, 7 hours of class), and as a result all I'll need to do is take a written exam with the Secretary of State. The bikes we used were mostly 250cc Suzuki GZ 250s or something like that, so they were pretty light compared to a VFR with a tank of gas, lol. I asked about the 25th edition, however, because I have the limited opportunity of buying one new from a dealer at a stellar price (Honda family discount ++ :) ) and I wonder if it's worth passing on the opportunity for beginner's sake.

    there was one here at eh dealership in 07 thats was autographed by him as well and they called it the freddie spencer edition
