    theres a saying, gpes like this "Theres an ass for every seat." That being said, I would sell it for 2000-2500 us dollars...If a Canadian wants to buy it charge him more ; )

    Tweak what you got is the best! You will regret getting rid of a 3rd gen bike.

    F parting bikie out! running bike is gud, selling parts and waiting for money bad/simple.

    Not to be a killjoy but..... last fall I bought a 2000 with 24k on the clock for $2200. Though the plastic was a bit banged up, I took it for a 400 mile ride the next day. It was near Pittsburgh PA.

    Had I been a day or two earlier there was a gorgeous 2000 with about 15k on it for the same money. This one was near Dayton, OH.

    Have you considered raffling the bike? You could determine how much you want, divide that and come up with a ticket figure then sell tickets until you get your $$ then draw and award it to the winner. I know lots of people would give it a shot if tix weren't too much. I'm not sure about the whole legality aspect of it in Cali, though. I know charities can do it, but who knows if individuals can...
