    you could go on the two gin martini diet too. Stirred not shaken :tongue: Kidding aside bin the stock shock in favour of a Fox (if you can still get one) or Ohlins. Race Tech front emulators with their fork springs makes dah front end sweet. Braided brake and clutch lines, along with a pad change. K&N air filter, shim needles and fuel mixture screws turned out 2-2.5/...list could go on...a quality slip on or a full system.

    the only actual DIY performance mod I've found, beyond weight reduction and suspension tuning, is taking a California bike and swapping 49states cams into it.

    So drilling holes in the frame and filling them up with Bondo is not a good idea? Maybe scrape the paint off the fairing? Pritikin?
