    From the seller:

I bought this bike locally off of CL. I mainly bought it for the bodywork to resell figuring the engine would be seized or wiring chewed through. After some diagnosing and cleaning it proved to be recoverable. Time to prove my limited capabilities! The bike was not supposed to be a rebuild, but once I found cylinder movement and compression I knew it was worth saving from the scrap yard. It was unexpected project bike, that has some nostalgia as I got my moto license on the same kind of bike. I just prefer larger displacement motos. I believe with a minimal amount of new parts and elbow grease you could ride before the summer is over.

a near-flawless beauty, but why was the choke on for so long after it was first maybe needed ? seems dumb-- and did he get lifetime free brake pads or why would he have obtrusive advertizing stickers ?

    I agree 50% with sm...

Choke is just choke. who cares. Although, if this is a video for auction, it can be nice to dial it back sooner to show that it doesn't need extended choke masking any problems. Not into "dumb" territory by any stretch.

But... I'll have to agree with sm on this.

This is a flip. You went thru the hassle of having the tank color matched (as close to possible) to OEM and many other items to get it close to stock to maximize the differential between investment and sale. Don't put brake company stickers on the fork lowers. Or HRC decals on the turn signals. This is supposed to be somebody else's next bike. And that person is hopefully looking for a nice as-close-to-stock example as possible.

Like selling a house, you take all the pictures of you and the family down.

It looks REALLY good. Good luck with the auction. Think you'll make out pretty nice,

I like the documentation in the listing. The IMB photos do a good job of highlighting any surprises, as usual.

You sealed the tank after all?
