1986 VF500 valve spring data

    The reason is simple. It's a bike with character. I had a VFR1200 for 9 months and I hated it. Found myself riding the VF and leaving the VFR in the garage. Got rid as soon as I could.

    I have bought a cheap Ebay VF750 lower radiator to consider fitting into the cooling circuit. Before I do that I am going to swap out the 50:50 ethylene glycol coolant I use, for 95% water (out of my dehumidifier) mixed with either Redline's Water Wetter of Motul's Mocool. These stop the water corroding the mixed metals and supposedly reduce the surface tension of the water. I am wary of the surface tension benefit, but using water instead of EG/water is a significant benefit to cooling. No antifreeze capability though so I will have to either drain it out or refill with EG/water when I store over winter.
