Over 60 degrees yesterday, so I got out for the first (short) ride of the year. It had been too long.

@sixdog the clutch feels great. No issues, lever feel is the same, pulling away from a stop is smooth and easy. I was able to get a 3rd gear wfo pull up a hill and not a hint of slip. Very happy. I was pretty damn sure it would be good, but ya never know.

Stopped at a park to snap a pic for proof... forgot my phone. So I swung by the house, rode around some more and then met up with a friend for a beverage before heading home for dinner.

Allright! It was a big fucking beer!

Happened upon Brewer's Night at Diamond Knot Brewery. Every month a guest brewery comes in with 2 or 3 different kegs and they do raffle giveaways for swag and stuff. Got there right when it was starting, enjoyed a Hazy IPA from Postdoc Brewing.

Yeah, I might have to visit Postdoc this spring on my way back from the valley. Don't think I've been to their taproom.

Man that VFR1000 keeps me looking. Such a badass mutha! If I wasn't trying to pair down. Although I must admit I don't know enough about originality to spot the scammers out there with their jacked up misplacement of logos and overspray! lol

Has anyone else noticed how many VF/VFRs are for sale the last month or three? They are everywhere!

I think people are hurtin for money honestly. Even some of the colletors. Unless you have a super rare or coveted moto, the prices are dropping like rocks around here.
Shoot, I have been down sizing all year. Too much overhead and work. Down to 6 and Big Red is next to go. '88 VFR750. Waiting until better weather to sell.

Camera mount test on a Fool's Spring Saturday. March 1st and 64 degrees in the valley. This was on the east side of the ridge, but West of the Cascades Foothills, which spends time in the shade, so it's a little moist.

Audio sounds like garbage, you'd think the crank/rod bearings are about to explode. But the camera location seems decent without a bunch of vibrations. I think I bounce the rev limiter once and I know I downshift one too many for the double apex left.

I am not riding "fast" as this is the first ride after a fairly nasty winter, but man video can look slow.

I had no goPro in my 20ton press this weekend, but I couldn't pull the trigger. It just picks and chooses when it wants to record audio with no indication it doesn't.

To Captain's pics... That's friggen awesome! Tell us the camera! That first picture looks so cool. Almost like it's staged with how perfectly legible "Honda" is on the tank.
