Had to take a half day Friday. Feb. + 50F = MIA.
Decided I need a new rear tire. The OEM Dunslop, new in October has give up to slick. Think I'll go Conti.
All said, the roads are full of dead skunks, a more reliable sign of spring then some yankee whistle pig.
I saw a few wood frog the other morning, so I expect the peepers to start singing in three weeks! Then it's on, SPRING!

It's been 10 years since I sold my last Viffer. Just bought a 5th gen. and I can't wait for this snow to melt and take it out, my neighbours must be getting tired of me starting it up on a weekly basis.

Well I can't wait for spring either, the birds were singing out there this morning. And I felt I needed to ride when I got back from a Mountain Bike ride earlier this morning. As for spring, I'm looking forward to loosing the heated gear and liners. I also want to get to use some thinner gloves. However, I won't let the cold keep me from riding. I was out there today as it was beautifully sunny. I just had to watch out for icy stuff in the shady corners and wet corners from melting snow in the sun. Not a lot of that however since we only got a light dusting a few nights ago. I rode about 60 to 70 miles today. Not a lot but I took the twisty route trying out my new Pirelli Diablo Strada's. NIce tires. They stick almost as well in the wet corners as they do in the dry.

Hey Wraithen, I was in your lovely town yesterday shopping at Royal Distributing for a new HJC FS-10 "Fossil" (kinda suits me). Needed something that better matches the new ride. Trigger the integrated sunshield and snap in the breath deflector and I'm lookin' very F18 Flight Leader!
