Does anyone know of a 1/2 bike cover that works well w/ the 02/03 VFR? I commute on my VFR every day and my bike sits in the FL sun (and sometimes t-storms) all day. Looking for something light that folds small, only takes up a little room in a tank bag, and will withstand hot pipes.

    I got a Nelson-Rigg UV2000 for my '02.
It just covers the top half. Works pretty well. It even comes with a fag/bag style fanny pack.

Can you put the UV2000 on when the exhaust is hot?

I ordered the Nelson-Rigg MC902 today ... it's a full cover w/ heat shield panels, so I plan to modify it as necessary to pull the heat shield portion up high enough to cover the exhaust. I'll post my success (or lack thereof). :-/

Sorry, I haven't back here in a while.
I put mine on hot all the time. It tucks up between the tail, and the pipes. I even have shieldless Staintunes, and it's no problemo, DUDE ! :D
