Good morning, so it’s actually going quite well. I called my local Honda dealership and gave them my VIN number and they pulled up the recall and ordered the front wiring harness. Once it was received, they called me and I dropped my bike off. After about four days, they called me back and said they found some melted connectors between the front wiring harness in the main wiring harness, and Honda‘s protocol if that happens is they replace the entire harness. So, two days ago, they have ordered a brand new main wiring harness and basically I am getting the front and main wiring harness totally for free. We are expecting the main harness to come in next week and then hopefully I get my bike back by next weekend. I will keep this chat updated as well.

Thanks! I just called a dealer and got an appointment for September 8th. Glad to hear parts are still available for this!

Very awesome. Make sure they know that if they find melted connections beyond the front wiring harness, Honda will provide a new main harness for free. Only “issue” they said is I’ll lose my hazard lights which I’m personally not very concerned with. None of my other bikes have hazards so I won’t know the difference, haha.

I can only hope they just find some charring and replace both. Finding a dealer to even do it has been a nightmare
