This is Michael (my son) and I next to the bikes of Jody Williams ('90 VFR750) and his neighbor Tom ('95 Magna 750) after a really nice day ride. Tom owns the plane which is replica of a 1930's something or another. The picture of the bikes and plane was great so here it is without us.Please note that I have lost several fine pictures somehow that VFR owners sent to me. Please accept my apology.
These are recent pictures of my '95 VFR750F that show some modifications.

- If you're crazy about VFRs, then this story is absolutely a must see. This bike may be the Mother of all VFRs! Special thanks to Shaun D. Nielsen for this special contribution to the VFR Garage.
- Ken Shields (Great Britain) has an interesting story. He bought his '87 VFR750 as a new standard FG model in 1987. Unfortunately, he dropped it in 1988 and hence a Blue and White paint job with a Yoshimura cyclone exhaust. Later that summer, it was blown off the stand and spent the winter in pieces getting tuned and repainted to emerge in time for the Isle of Man TT. It also appeared as a reader's special in Performance Magazine in October 1989. As Ken said, it stayed like that for a few years as he successfully managed to keep it shiny side up.
In 1996, Ken decided to turn it into a single seater with an RC30 seat unit with a few more modifications. About 2 weeks later, he was taking it to Evolution to be included in a feature article in Motorcycle News about the paint shop, only to get squished on a roundabout by a twat driving a Volvo. Nevertheless, this '87 VFR was then featured in Bike Magazine in an article about modifying VFR's (minus the bottom section of fairing).
Thereafter, the repaired Evoluation paint job was so well done, Ken's newest VFR750 was mistaken for one of the Team Bikes by a Team mechanic while parked at Calais on the way back from the World Superbikes at Assen. It stayed like this for a few years until his young son (age 11 years) knocked it over. And that resulted in the current black '87 VFR750. Btw, here is a list of VFR's modification Ken has made to his V4. Now that's a story!
- Randy probably has built and tricked out the most outstanding '86 VFR750F I have ever seen.
