You should check the stator output voltages. with the bike running you can unplug the 3 yellow wires from the r/r and measure AC voltaGE from...
unless you've poked a .012" steel wire or guitar string through the slow jet you can't be sure it's clean ! Inspect the plug from the lazy...
unplug the connector on top of the start solenoid to check for melted or burned wires. i'd suspect that your charging system is kaput.

so they coulda manufactured the large gear to balance the assembly maybe or balanced the split-gear section doncha think ? :peaceful:
