low mileage, should be OK below 9k rpms but you need luck. keep rpms not too high. 250 rebel ??> no skill needed, keep wife in kitchen.

Does your ignition switch have a "park" position just counterclockwise from "off" ? some Hondas have them to power a taillight while parking on...
a really thorough job would have you removing the swing arm to check/grease the bearings.
