Got it. The oring around the strainer tube is key, as long as it is getting squished a bit. Not sure what the orings around the bolts are doing....
I jack on collectors and oil pans (with interfaces) all the time. Shit I even jack up 86 VFR using the headers. Have for years with zero issues.
