Well dude, you answered your own question. You're lugging the engine. Best advise is DONT DO THAT!. (I have the same bike.)
My head bearings rattle constantly. Sometimes its hard to figure which way is up. The only fix is 4 or 5 bottles of Beck's Dark. :eek-new:
