OK, just back from a weekend vacay... PM me your addy and I'll get it in the mail.
I'm not a K&N fan anyway, but you do realize the nut is "Wrench-Off" in their words.... not to be wrenched on. IMHO it's unnecessary idea anyway,...
I'll hang in until you think you're finished, then ship it to me and I'll give you an extended non-judgemental (key word 'mental', LOL)...
I have used Permatex Plastic Epoxy for many repairs, the Plastex solution looks very good also. JB weld stuff is runnier and not as strong.
Looks like new filter in order... it would be beneficial to put Seafoam in the fuel for a couple of tanks also.
While Seafoam is mechanic in a can, might be possible one float needle is sticking... in the end, there is no substitute for removing the carbs...
Sounds normal... in town you're not getting the airflow, so the fan kicks on. The thermostat is regulating the temperature, no harm is being done.
Xylene is a harsh solvent that has an effect on some deposits, but won't necessarily dissolve gummy deposits that are built up from...
OK, all I got is an OEM clutch lever..... don't have the OEM brake lever. Let me know if you want it for whatever Canada Post wants to mail it.
Um..... No way to conclusively tell without the levers actually off the bike. Have to see switch actuating end and the m/c plunger end.....
What SkiMad says....... I'd ditch the OEM R/R and get a mofset on there, wire direct to battery and bypass the OEM setup. Roadster cycle for...
I've read elsewhere around here there may be a trace or ground not making contact, so perhaps broken you have to repair solder it, 'er sumthin....
I have a set of OEM levers off my 1999..... want to be sure I have the right brake lever for you if you could post a pic of what you have, I'll...
Yes there is a drain hose, you'll have to find the bottom end and see it's not blocked... or blow air down it. 5th Gen has drain going along...
If you follow the wiring diagram.... yellow/green is the tach signal from the ECU, green/black is ground, and brown/blue is the 12V feed for the...
If you compare the black adapter pieces to your OEM levers.... if they actuate the clutch and brake switches in the same way and the plungers for...
Do you still have the OEM R/R type? I'd suggest retrofit with a mofset if that's the case, and take some load off that stator. I'm no expert, but...
Just my opinion, but replacing the stock R/R with a mofset will take the heat off a stator... stator if testing OK and no coils "black" should be...
You could get yourself a big known flat surface, remove the tubes and check for bent.... suspension places can straighten minor stuff, or you may...
Well, I posted this up because it may be of interest or help to someone's knowledge base. If Dino is what we're used to, and if synthetic is...
