Just a note of interest.....8th gen exhaust cans fit on 5th gens..... Not personally verified, but have seen several examples on both VFRD and VFRW.
On the 5th gen, left side, just forward of the R/R. its a mass of black tape around roughly a 45 x 50 x 5 mm block...
CBR500s also used the FH020aa....
