i think that is mainly due to the scale being different for hp and tq, as well as the fact that as the rpm's go up, you can loose tq while...
a 180 tire(what you have) is constructed to fit in a 5.5 inch rim. (which you have) a 190 tire(what you want) is constructed to fit in a 6 inch...

the 330 ohm resistors do not change your air/fuel ratio at all. what they do is just give a steady reading. 330ohms all the time no matter what...
i wouldn't be surprised if some of these guys that are reporting 160+ had sprocket kits on their bikes, which would throw the speedo's way off.
