Pics? most gas caps wont' close without the key in (maybe turned a bit).
Welcome! What part? I grew up in Malden, Reading, Saugus, and Groton (MA).
And I'm surely not knocking you...just stating the facts. We see the same all of the time at track days too.
I will refrain from providing any of those details. A VFR is a LOT of bike for a first motorcycle and will really slow your learning curve.
Welcome!
Snow? I'm at the track this weekend!
I suspect that your WD-40 did some cleaning, as did disconnecting and reconnecting the...connectors. :)
Did you diagnose, or have a seance? :darklord:

Did you take your measurements with the bike at operating temp, or cold? Heat matters...
Dirty connector would my my first guess. I've certainly had that on other bikes. Check the connectors in that circuit, including the fuse and fuse...
Speaking from personal experience...ahem, not on the VFR, my rond sliders that stick out have done a superb job, but always at the track where you...
Beautiful job! How do you see through that windscreen when you're tucked? It looks really dark.
Lovely! Thanks for taking us along.
Oh yea. I'm not picking on you. Just making a hopefully funny point to the larger group.
Put holes in fairing to protect fiaring from damage? Ah....yea, no.
Thanks, Cap'n.
That should be illegal. Isn't there a VFR gang that can visit this guy late at night? :)
Real maintenance is all done on the '98 with just the PARI delete left. With some research, I see many saying it does nothing but make it more...
Exhaust leak? Neither my '98 nor my '00 smell at all.
