Sorry for the threadjack; but if anyone is looking for stock wheels for an '86 VFR I have a set in good shape. Rear comes with cush drive,...
Well... in the absence of more info I'd say anything is possible. Has anything changed since the last time it was okay? Tire changed? Bike fell...
My experience with sportbikes is that any windscreen that directs the airflow higher than the stock screen WILL result in unacceptable buffeting...
Okay, I know I was the one who brought up smooth in this thread... Having said that, I had a friend (way back in 'the day') who was a pretty...
Shiny side up - definitely. Code's books - yup (he's the guy behind the California Superbike School which I attended back in the early 80's)...
My problem with that list is that the V-4 they chose was an RC-30, which uses the 360 crank. I think the normal VFR sounds better - and just as...
I'll throw in here, just because. You can look at plugs for a couple of reasons. Three of these look 'okay' and one (right side top) looks iffy...

I keep my eye out for a Deuce of a similar vintage. Nice lines. Either that or an XLCR.
He's a talented lad! The first two pics are very artsy; but this one... Shows the real thing. Sweet, Spicy! Welcome to the zoo.
RIP Marco. Thoughts with your family, and especially with your good friend Valentino. Our sport has lost an unforgettable soul.
I posted a couple of quickies from my B'day ride.
Well, not only the John Player Special Lotus cars, there were also John Player Nortons, and unless my memory is AFU (entirely possible, BTW) Joey...
Kinda reminiscent of the John Player livery from the 60's and 70's.
Can't wait to see an unenhanced pic of the real thing. Looks good lad! (yes, I can call you that because I'm older than you )
I'm no clutch expert; but Grey's explanation makes mechanical sense to me. Not that that means anything
I'm thinkin' a gold Honda Wing on the tank and gold VFR on the fairing sides. That's what I would do...
