Man I wish is could claim mileage! Several times per week I find myself running around in the mountains here in Arizona, sometimes 300-400 miles...

I would say to go for it. I put one on just before a 1000 mile trip, and had no wrist/arm fatigue whatsoever. Money well spent IMHO.
