Bhahahaha!!
Got a pair of these: Clutch Brake Levers for Honda VFR750 1990-1997 | eBay Good price and good fitment. They look and feel good too.
My apologies. I had no intentions on hijacking the thread.
To those who have installed the Signal Dynamics LED on their VFR's: What does the LED show with the bike off and ignition on, at idle, and when...
Hmmm....I don't think that's correct. ^^ Though I do think it should be higher at idle, I don't think it would be at 14v at 1500rpm....
I used my buddies digital multimeter and hooked it up to the battery. With the bike off: Voltage LED: n/a Multimeter: 12.5v With the ignition...
True....it's still bothering me though. I feel like it should be higher than the "less than 12 Volts" that it shows at idle-2k rpm.
Having gone from an '86 to a '97, I have read this article 100 times on VFRD.....good read.
Bah....odd. I'll check with a Multimeter at the battery and see if it matches what the volt guage is showing.
Just a question: I wired up my Voltmeter yesterday. Positive wire to the Ignition/FuelPump/Starter Fuse and ground to the nearest turn signal...
I'd like to but I have been unsuccessful at convincing the "Wifey" it's a good idea.
Agree'd.
I got the BT023's on my 4th gen. A few thousand KM's on them and they're fine. A very good Sport Touring Tire.
Welcome! Georgetown aint far from me. Gorgeous bike.
I don't see why anyone should get upset. Your observations are pretty bang on. The VFR isn't made for the track. Thats the ticket right there....
+1. I second that. 180 is overkill.
I'm unsure about the mileage. But when i say they wore horrible I don't meen they wore quickly (though they didn't last very long) I mean on...
+1 on the updates and Photo requests. I've been thinking about this thread and, in my opinion, the best mod that this bike has received is...
Gotta love stereotypes, eh? Like all the people who think Candians all wear parkas and say "Aboot" and "Eh"
What size are people running on the 2nd gen with the F2 wheel swap? 150? 160? Yes sir. The 4th gen went down to a 5" rim...then (I think) it...
