hey welcome to the site. I'd do a complete carb clean but don't seperate them. pull the bowls off pull out all the inners but don't mix them up....

if you jumped the wires and fan did not come on the like masonv45 said check the fuse. if the fuse is good then fan is bad replace it.. check E -...

when was the last time the carb's were cleaned ??? might try first running some seafoam through a tank of gas see if that help's . if not time...
yeah just connecting them together. don't ground it out. best place to start is E- Bay , then check some of the online honda dealers....
