by no means am i an expert, but a supercharger, on a car at least, is hooked to the pulleys, and is always in motion and always compressing air....

not to mention these are small engines and a supercharger puts alot more strain on any engine.
i wouldent do a supercharger since that uses more gas mileage. but i woudlent buy a 5k charger for a 2k bike.

if your strapped for cash you can get a fin type r.r. on ebay for around 60 bucks. its not goign to be as good of quality as a 115 dollar one, but...
charge the battery then take it to auto zone or whatever auto parts store there is. they can do a load test and deturmine if the battery is bad....
