Those are not idle screws on these carbs, those are air/fuel mixture screws that do affect mixture mostly in the idle range to about 1/8 throttle....
As was mentioned above if you have stock front springs, rear shock and steering head bearings odds are they are all shot and should be replaced....
I think you mean centripetal force, I personally include the corliois effect into account when I am checking my oil levels.
Fork brace if ya have en extra one or two here!

Do tell about this Crusty, do you have a Honda number or CBR model year we can pluck these R/R's from? I think the problem with batteries on...
A bad R/R can cause a battery to go bad if the regulator lets the voltage run too high.
Not hating here either but like 1st gen 750's they had design issues that you had to watch closely. I think they are cool looking bikes.

Nope, there is enough of a gap under the side panel to route the line under it.
Yep, left side under the side panel, the shock was never installed on a bike before I got it so it still had the original rubber mounting bumpers...
I wound up strapping my Twin Clicker against the left side of the aluminum box frame for easy access. Someone told a horror story a ways back...

If it is not too much trouble you might want to check those diodes near those transistors, if those transistors took a whallop I imagine those...
Like I said before for transistors to go up in smoke it usually points to power supply problems and the places I would look to for that is the R/R...
