Mis-read your post, thick hose from back of crankcase goes into separator. Oil vapors leave via thick hose back into air cleaner to be burned....

Are carb still off the bike? If so time to take out float, needle valve and valve seats. Spread everything out and examine every thing with an LED...
Next step is to check float needle valves and seats. Dirt on the valve seat or a nick on the tip of the needle could be causing it.
