ok...so I examined the starter clutch by taking the cover off once again and found something bent where the pin that one is supposed to move from...
Actually, I do believe I have had some trouble reinserting one of the rollers in the carrier!

Wheres the solenoid? I think the starter teeth in the same case and they looked fine...connected to the gear and no visible signs of wear.
Thats a good idea...I'll replace the old parts with the new parts I bought and let all know what is going on. BTW...Where is the solenoid?
