Unless you have fiddled with the electrical or fiddled with something close to the electrical I think the odds of it being a problem is unlikely....

This is what you need. P/N - RAM-B-231 or RAM-B-231U (unpackaged). It's only about 10 bucks and fits at the tank perfectly without the u-bolt....
