Fastest I got my black '94 to was 240km/h indicated. Also 240km/h indicated for my red '00.

Nice, it's not even run in yet!! As for tyres, my 2 cent opinion is for Michelin Pilot Power. Possibly a Pilot Road on the rear if you commute....

My '00 had 27,000km on the clock when I bought it, don't know if it has the same chain/sprockets from new. It's booked in for the 72,000km service...
