your plugs will tell you which cylinder has the leak. plug will be white
they should run hot. they shunt unnecessary current to ground
if he wants it factory, he doesn't need a manual switch. he has an issue to correct, then he does not need a manual switch
it grounds fan and turns it on. from your bubbles comment I see that you had air in the system. needs to be bled out for it to work correctly
temp switch that controls the fan needs to be ohmed out at 95c temp
part 13 is gnd cable. i would like to see voltage at output of starter solenoid measured to gnd
