You see the same thing from in car footage in various Motorsport, it's as a result of the camera when it's led lights, they're not actually flashing.
I've only got experience of the Schuberth one made by Cardo. It's good for calls unless your doing over 70 then the wind noise gets too much.
I pull it from the front, once you've slid it backwards the rear should be completely free.
